Annapolis Drive-Thru Fall Shred Fest Event

Shredding documents has become a necessity to safeguard your identity. Protect yourself from consumer fraud and identity theft at Arundel Federal Savings Bank’s Drive-Thru Annapolis Fall Shredding Event on Saturday, September 21, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at our Annapolis Branch on 2661 Riva Road, Annapolis, 21401. This event is open to all and there is no charge.

Arundel Federal’s Fall Drive-Thru Shred Fest is on Saturday, September 21 from 10am - 1pm at our Annapolis Branch located at 2661 Riva Road. It is a free community event enabling people to minimize their risk of becoming a victim of identity theft by disposing of their unneeded documents in one of the safest ways possible. “Helping our customers, neighbors and communities protect themselves against fraud and identity theft is an important service we've provided for years. It's also a great opportunity to meet your local bankers and get to know them at the event.” said Tom Herpel, Arundel Federal’s President and CEO.

All documents are securely shredded on-site by the experts at ProShred of Halethorpe. The process takes only a few minutes and, best of all, Arundel Federal staff will come to your car to assist you with your bags and boxes (3 box bag limit per vehicle). Please place all items to be shredded in the trunk of your vehicle.  As the line progresses, you'll drive up to the truck where staff members will unload your documents. You may remain in your vehicle for the duration of the event.

Items to bring:

  • Cancelled checks and other bank documents containing financial information
  • Credit card statements and old bills
  • Paycheck stubs
  • Monthly bills
  • Tax returns
  • Medical or dental bills
  • Unneeded documents with sensitive information

Please note: There is a 3 bag/box limit per vehicle, personal papers only (no businesses). Weather permitting; the event will be held until end at 1.p.m. or the truck fills up – whichever comes first! Follow us on Facebook for Shred Fest event updates as the date nears.
